The atmosphere in Culture Coffee is relaxed, modern and tidy. They also have a little garden out back! My coffee arrived on a sweet little tray and tasted perfect. (There was also a chocolate on the side.) You can tell that a lot of thought has been put in to the presentation of the food and drinks here, I am very impressed. The ciabatta had well balanced toppings so tasted good as well as looking pretty. I heard someone complaining about the price of the coffee being £3 - I understand the feeling but personally I think you are paying for the atmosphere, service & the quality of the coffee. I’ll definitely be returning, thank you! ~ Katie W
The vibe in Culture Coffee is lovely. The effort that goes into the presentation of all the food, drinks and cakes is like no other in the area. Pictured here is their Mocha. It was delish. You even get a little truffle treat on the side of the tray. I also had their French Ham and Applewood cheddar, with rocket panini… It didn’t disappoint. Special mention to the dressing they drizzled over the plate and panini… It was of balsamic nature and 10x more delicious! I want some for my home! The environment is chilled, clean, tidy, classy and cosy. This is somewhere you could bring a friend for a catch-up or even a work meeting. ~ Ads
The food was reallly good! Far exceeded my expecations. I loved the little touches, such as serving drinks on a tray with a small sponge cake and water. That was an experience in itself! The duck with waffle and egg was delicious! I really liked the orange sauce. Everything complimented each other. There were sooooo many cakes to choose from. I ended up getting the biscoff cake which was really good! The service was excellent. Presentation excellent. I loved the decor of the place too! Felt very cozy and loved the armchairs. Great place! Great menu! Great staff! ~ Amy T
Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff, excellent knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements, and delicious food and drink. As a Coeliac, I was initially disheartened to spot the gluten free and normal cakes in a cabinet together - until I realised this is just a display and everything is actually kept away from each other. The staff checked the ingredients of the pistachio latte I’d ordered, without even being prompted! I don’t think I’ve ever felt so safe in my food choices in a cafe before! We’re new to the area so we will definitely be back! Thank you! ~ Kim C
Absolutely amazing coffee! Really classy and warming place to relax! The service is outstanding! Along with lovely staff that really care and go above and beyond. The food is of top quality and consistent made by a chef that really does care about the quality food they produce. Hands down the go to place for Salisbury. I had to update my review as I cannot believe how lovely the whole family are that run this place it’s an absolute pleasure to eat and relax here. If I could I’d be here every day! ~ Lenny O
Really friendly and helpful. Can't recommend highly enough! Delicious coffee and great food. Seating varies from stools at a counter to bucket armchairs and big comfortable sofas. Additional discreet seating is available at the rear of the building which is where the garden is accessed from. It has furniture under a canopy in the walled garden which is a nice suntrap and very quiet. A very popular coffee house with customers waiting to be admitted at opening time. Best place for coffee in Salisbury, in my opinion. ~ mike p
With a lovely warm atmosphere and beautiful decor, Culture Coffee is such a lovely place to relax with friends and family whilst enjoying an expertly made drink! All the staff are lovely and make the effort to get to know their regulars and will greet you with a smile when you pop in. Have visited many times before making this review and the consistency in quality is excellent. You're also spoilt for choice in the type of seating you want to use as well. ~ Craig B
My new go to coffee shop in Salisbury, would highly recommend! Cannot fault this place, the staff are so lovely, especially the lady that I assume is the owner or manger, she is always super friendly and goes above and beyond to help in any way. They had a pretty much full cafe as well as a large party reservation one day and she still managed to fit a group of us in, grabbing extra stools/ chairs for us especially even though they were clearly very busy. Coffee is always amazing and I love how they serve with a little glass of water and mini cake. Always great presentation when any food or drink is served. Absolutely love the decor too, it gives the cafe a luxury feel (and is really nice to have something unique and different compared to the other cafes). The atmosphere is amazing, the lighting is dimmer so it gives a really cozy vibe (and great for those that are easily overstimulated) and the sofas and armchairs are so comfortable. Incredible gluten free selection here and vegan options too. Good choice of alternative/ plant based milk options. ~ Ray S
We have visited here this Sunday morning for the first time. Coffee was simply divine, one of the best I ever had . They seemed quite busy at one point. However service was very fast, we were served with a smile, staffs are very welcoming and accommodating. We are amazed by the selection of cakes, tried some of the gluten free (vegan ) cakes. Everything was delicious. This is best cafe in salisbury for sure. We will definitely be back when in salisbury next time. ~ Fat&Funny L
Great little coffee shop 5 minutes from the train station or town centre. If youre looking for something a little different from your 'chain' outlets, try this one. Sit in and your drinks come out on individual trays with a small glass of water to complement your hot drink - excellent. We went in for a quick coffee on a Sunday morning and ended up staying for brunch. It looks quite small from the outside, however it stretches on further to the rear to give a couple of lovely little snug areas. ~ Derek T
We were passing by through the town and thought to give the place a try. The food is delicious and presented well. The coffee is great. Easily, one of the best coffee places in the UK. The staff are very friendly. The environment and atmosphere is suitable for business meetings, friends gathering, reading a book, and students studying alone or together. The coffee shop is spacious, so you can fit in easily. They have different kind of seats, so you can pick your favorite. ~ Adel A
We stopped in while visiting from America. Culture Coffee has amazing atmosphere. It has a high class but cozy feel to it. The food options range from pastries to full breakfasts. We had pastries and they were very good. We both had the creme brulee latte. I really liked it. My wife prefers sweet lattes and it wasn't sweet. It's down to personal taste, just know it isn't sweet. We enjoyed our time! ~ Brett S
Oh wow. Excellent coffee! The flat white has to be one of the best in the UK. The pastries are crispy on the outside, soft the inside, superb. Also a selection of very nice looking cakes presented on the counter like jewelry. I had the "Cultured Breakfast", which was a small but perfectly executed fry-up. Really nice ambience with a chilled but interesting soundtrack in the background. Lovely staff. Go here. ~ Tom P
Un sitio precioso. Entré de casualidad pero 100% recomendable. Siempre busco que haya un sofá allá donde voy y aquí tenían la zona de sofás al completo. Si vuelvo algún día repito seguro. ~ cristina t
When we visited Salisbury recently we popped into Culture Coffee, almost opposite Fisherton Mill on the high street. We were made very welcome by the owners/staff and loved the ambience in the cafe. We had a couple of Flat Whites and a selection of cakes. The coffee was extremely smooth and the cakes so tasty. We will now always head here for a coffee and a snack next time we visit Salisbury. See you soon guys. 👍😊 ~ Steve C
We came here for brunch and had the English breakfast which was made from good quality ingredients, cooked well. Coffee was good too, which I guess it should be given the name of the place. Plenty of seating at both traditional tables and chairs as well as a selection of living room furniture. There was also more seating out back which may have been outdoors, but it was raining so I didn't investigate. ~ Andrew M
Visited Salisbury for Stonehenge – wanted coffee and breakfast before and came across this café a short walk away from the train station. What comfortable atmosphere! There’s a quaint garden seating at the back, staff was friendly too :—) My dad & I were pleasantly surprised by the presentation of pastry & drinks (served with a little treat and water). If we had more time, we would definitely relax here. ~ Yi Z
A large array of options on the menu and selection of tasty cakes. The staff seem lovely and the cafe had a cosy atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed being able to sit next to the window with a view of the river as well as how the food and coffee was presented. Some of the prices may seem expensive particularly for a sandwhich, however still generally reasonable for the rest of the menu. ~ Danni P
I adore this place and I need to come here more often. The coffee is fantastic and the way they serve, even the simplest drinks, is the best I've ever experienced. The teapots are gorgeous. This is a level of service one just doesn't see anymore, more's the pity. What a wonderful place. You even get little cakes with the drinks. And best of all, it's dog free! ~ Jenny C
Lovely atmosphere coffee shop. Friendly staff and loved the extra touches. My breakfast tea came in a teapot with a delicious orange chocolate truffle. My vegan breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection AND a really generous size plate with a very reasonable price- £10.90 Perfect way to start my train journey. I noticed they are also dog friendly 😁 ~ Tracey W
Culture Coffee is an exception to the copy/paste coffee shops that are popping up everywhere these days. The ambience of the shop is very chill, with some great alternative music that is played throughout. The coffee is by far the best I have had and the food is incredible. The countless times that I have been in, not one time have I been disappointed. ~ Chaz
A great independent coffee shop with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly personal service. Serves great coffee along with a good selection of cakes. Recently tried their Brunch menu, which is highly recommended and worth the wait! If you enjoy your coffee in a chilled, relaxed environment whilst wanting to support independents this is the place for you. ~ Andrew P
Best place in town If you want great tasting espresso, with all of the variation you could expect from any coffee chain just to a way higher standard, they also do lovely fresh food with a breakfast menu as well as a lunch time menu, would definitely recommend for anyone visiting or locals that want to try something new that isn’t your typical Starbucks or Costa! ~ Sam W
This was a lovely cafe we visited several times while visiting Salisbury. We had breakfast and also stopped by for afternoon tea and cakes. All the food was high quality and the presentation was nice. They had vegetarian and vegan options too for breakfast and cakes. Staff was really nice too. Wish we had a place like this at home. ~ K T
